This is an independently produced archive and time capsule of artists, innovators and culturally relevant individuals who either reside in or have close contact with the origin city, Toronto Canada.
After the death of many talented friends, this concept was conceived as a vehicle for capturing guests in the name of culture, history and the future. The signature studio interview style primarily features the minimalism of one camera, one take, and rare editing. Imperfections illustrate reality, & candid moments intimacy.
At Pentagram, we like to get to the point, and defeat mortality with each filming: If 5 out of 100 guests either ascend, descend, transform or die, we will have achieved our objectives in capturing their journeys.
EVOLUTION: Pentagram Studios is located in Toronto Canada and created by executive producer/host/journalist Viva aka Viva Viletone, Vulgaris, Venus Vega. The show began as lark, with a test pilot featuring actor/musician Dave Kiner as the original host wearing a devil hat. Early episodes were more of a party atmosphere, later contrained into the current more formal structure.
